DESCRIPTION:Celebrate community investment with Yakima County! \nYakima County community and project partners are thrilled to announce the completion of the 1\,386 kW solar installation across the rooftops of nine county buildings. This project\, made possible through the collective efforts of Yakima County Facilities staff\, the WA Department of Commerce Clean Energy Program\, Olympia Community Solar\, and Ellensburg Solar\, goes beyond reducing carbon emissions. By reducing operating costs\, it keeps taxpayer dollars local and reinvests into the community through County projects.
