SHARE Accelerator program staff have opened applications and plan to accept 10 rental units in 2026. Program goals include:<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Improving the quality and energy efficiency of Olympia\u2019s existing rental housing stock<br \/>\n\u25cf Streamlining compliance with Olympia\u2019s Rental Registry and Inspection Program \u2013 which includes the rental housing inspections focused on health and safety beginning in 2026.<br \/>\n\u25cf Maintaining housing affordability and reducing energy burdens for renters.<\/p>\n<p>More details about the SHARE Accelerator, and draft scope of building upgrades can be found on the program webpage.<\/p>\n<p>TIMELINE<br \/>\n\u25cf RFP release date: March 23rd, 2026<br \/>\n\u25cf Proposal due date: April 24th, 2026<br \/>\n\u25cf Selection announcement: May 8th, 2026<\/p>\n<p>Proposals must be submitted in PDF form by email to info@olysol.org before 5pm EST on April 24th.
